The Defender of the Universe
We challenge anyone who watched TV in the early 80s to not hear the voice of Peter Cullen when they read “Voltron: Defender of the Universe.” It has become an amazing part of the collective geek consciousness that all these years later, we still long for gigantic robot cats of our own…which is why Sideshow went out and made some.
Sideshow proudly presents the Voltron Maquette.
Standing at an impressive 27” tall, the Voltron Maquette is our own unique interpretation of the iconic Defender of the Universe. The artisans at Sideshow have crafted a piece that features well-earned battle damage alongside the instantly recognizable cats that form the mighty robot.
Constructed from polyresin, metal, and plastic, Voltron is made up of 106 individual pieces. However, lucky owners will only have to assemble 11 pieces to summon forth Voltron. The wingspan gives Voltron a diameter of 14.5”, making it the perfect centerpiece to your collection. The eyes in the main head, both the lions and the robot’s, light up and the piece can be displayed with or without the incredibly detailed sword.
